Program Overview

“The soul must be barricaded by prayer and study the Scriptures. Armed with these weapons, Jesus encountered our wily foe on the field of battle, and overcame him.” Our High Calling, p. 330

Program Overview:

Each ARME event is a full-packed full-day schedule and each segment builds on what has come before. While you can join at any time during the camp, it’s much more productive if you are able to attend the entire event. (And you’ll have less regrets if you do, as many can testify!)

ANYONE can attend!

ARME Bible Camp is designed for adults and youth of all ages and all walks of life! (The Heir Force program is specifically for the children of ARME attendees. This children’s program (for ages 4-12) runs simultaneously with the main ARME program.) Each ARME Bible Camp we usually have between 300-600 people. Our program is not too simplistic for church leaders or too complicated for those that are brand new Christians. This program is about fostering personal revival, and even non-SDA attendees find great encouragement in attending ARME. (Note: If you plan to attend, please try to register early. We’ve had camps fill up so fast in the past, that sometimes we have to shut down registration early!)

Schedule outline for main daily program:

Each camp will follow a similar schedule, although there are variations at each event depending on speakers and location. A tentative schedule outline is as follows:

6:30 am – Morning United Prayer (You don’t want to miss this! This unifies the group and gives a powerful start to each new day!)

7:00 am – Devotional

8:00 am – Breakfast

9:30-12:30 – Bible Study Training and workshops

12:30 – Lunch

1:30-2:30 – Personal Study Time/Family Time

2:30-5:30 – More Bible Study Training

5:30 pm – Supper

7:00 pm-9:00 pm – Evening Inspiration all together!

The Heir Force

In addition to the main schedule above, there will be a simultaneous Heir Force program being held for children ages 4-12 which will occur during the morning and afternoon training sessions. (In the evening the children will join the adult meeting with their parents.)

There is no childcare offered for those younger than 4 years old. But parents are able to bring their 3 year olds to the Heir Force program as long as THEY stay with them. 🙂

Accommodations:

Each facility that we occupy is different with its accommodations and services.

Sometimes we can accommodate specific requests and sometimes we can’t. Keep in mind that with the large number of attendees trying to come to each camp, we really need everyone to be flexible on housing. If we have small 2-4 people rooms and you come alone, you will be asked to share with other same gender attendees. (We do make exceptions when we can, but again…to accommodate all those that wish to come, we need our attendees to be willing to share space.)

In many cases, as we work with summer camp facilities and the like, housing accommodations are like summer camp bunk houses. At first you may be worried about this, but in the long run you will find your ARME teammates becoming like family and it will be a blessed experience to share the time together – especially if you have a positive attitude about it. Also, as we know that harder times are ahead, it’s good to be toughened up a little now. Again… circumstances are different for each camp. When it’s all said and done, we promise you won’t regret your experience!

“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” 2 Timothy 2:3

Prepare in Advance:

“No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” 2 Tim. 2:4

To receive the biggest blessing during your time at ARME, it’s important that you prepare ahead of time. This isn’t just a conference where you come to get another spiritual high, only to return home to another spiritual low. The intent is that through the power of the Holy Spirit, there be deep life changing revival AND reformation in your life. But this will not happen, even at ARME, if you don’t take your side of the responsibility seriously.

Even now, once you have decided to attend one of our events, we ask that you begin to prepare. You can do that several ways! Below are some suggestions, but it’s most important that you ask God what He wants you to do.

– Pray and ask God what idols you are holding on to and what you need to surrender to Him!

– Do a personal reassessment of your life and habits. (See attachment “Removing the Breaches: Heart Evaluation”)

– Fast from junk food, fast food, Internet surfing, entertainment media, or other noisy distractors that keep you distanced from God or that tear down your body.

– Start praying together with your family (or roommates/best friends) and asking God to take you deeper in your walk with Him.

– Read or re-visit the book “Steps to Christ” by Ellen White

Remember, “Every man and woman who has enlisted in Christ’s army is a soldier…” Christian Service, p. 35.

Being part of the Lord’s ARME may not seem easy, but He’s promised to supply our every need! And He’s promised that through Him we can experience victory. If we desire to be revived, He will answer that desire!

We look forward to meeting you at an upcoming ARME Bible Camp!
